Motorola signs deal with Bharat Electronics to develop communication services

Bangalore-based telecom equipment provider Motorola Solutions India Pvt Ltd has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with government-owned Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) to provide assistance with communication services. Under the MoU, both companies will utilize each other’s resources to develop devices for the professional mobile radio market, focusing on broadband and push-to-talk (PTT) services. These devices will incorporate Motorola’s WAVE PTX PTT service to enhance team connectivity and efficiency.

WAVE PTX is a multimedia communication service developed by Motorola that operates without relying on a network, allowing for seamless connectivity between cross-functional teams. Devices utilizing this technology enable users to connect with their team at the touch of a button, without any range restrictions.

In addition to this collaboration, BEL has also signed an MoU with Singapore-based company INERY, aimed at leveraging Blockchain technology. Through this partnership, both companies will utilize each other’s resources to enhance their product offerings, integrating BEL’s complementary functionalities and INERY’s solutions.

Furthermore, BEL has signed an MoU with Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd (BGSW) to collaborate in areas such as e-Governance, ERP, and Cloud solutions.
